BAH! Once again it has taken me *far* too long to post to my blog. No excuses, really, I'm just lazy and busy. Somehow both at the same time.
So...I'm on break! And what a break it is! School is out for a *measely* three weeks, after which I start up again to the *unmitigated joy* that is two classes. The only silver lining is that with any luck this will be the last two-semester class I will have to take in my entire college career. One in the summer, one in the fall, and then USC can kiss my keester goodbye! My classes for next semester are Mathematical Pattern Recognition (MPR) and Adaptive Signal processing (ASP). MPR just sounds kinda neat, really. That's the only reason I picked it out of the herd. ASP (the sting of the ASP! Heh) is perhaps more predictable because I am actually *in* the adaptive signal processing group, and so you would think I should learn how to...you know...signal process...adaptively. Plus it has some neat audio applications too. Kickin'.
Okay, enough school talk. School is ovar! No, I don't know what my grades are, yet. They'll post them eventually, but I'm really too tired to care. I'm not particularly worried, though, and so you shouldn't be either.
Christmas shopping? Good grief! Yeah, I really haven't done much of that yet. I had better get on that ball. Luckily I don't have *too* many people to buy for.
Also, I've gone to a grand total of 5 holiday parties in the last two weeks. And that, my friends, is not bad. Makes me feel loved to get invited to all these neat places filled with people I know. Warm glow, y'know? There's some fuziness there.
Unfortunates: it doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to see Rebekah much until next year. I think we’re going to meet up for dinner early next week, but last week was my finals week, this week is her finals week, she’s got a crazy weekend planned (y’know, finals detox and the like) and then I’m gone up and out to WA and AK. So unfortunate, but if I’ve waited this long to really date someone, I’m sure I can keep it up for a while longer. Patience, my friend, patience.
Urm…Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has been beaten, but it continues to have loads of fun stuff to do. Yay for it.
J came over and played on the drums today! He used to be in a Hair band back in…some decade or another, and so he has been on the drums for 20 years. Yowza! He wanted to play around on the electric drums, and I wanted to see how a serious professional deals with the skins. Needless to say, I was impressed. He is, doubtless, quite talented. I picked up a few more things I can drill on, too. So that was a productive encounter.
Erm…other stuff too…all is well…I am totally ready to veg out for my vacation. Beginning now…
…aaaaah.

Just wanted to share in your aaaahhh for break. Breaks are awesome, there aren't any tests and deadlines, and that pretty much rocks. Look forward to seeing you in the soon.
